2017 was an absolute whirlwind for me! I shot a record number of sessions, got to see so many of my favorite faces again and met so many wonderful people! The importance of what I do, capturing and preserving glimpses into the happiest moments of your lives, is absolutely never lost on me. After this year though, a great year for me personally but a year of loss for so many people I love, I understand that significance more clearly than ever before. I don’t take capturing your memories lightly, I want the photos we create together to be a light to you on your darkest days and a reminder of how wonderful things can be. I definitely teared up a few times while going through photos for this post thinking about all of the joy and love I was allowed to witness this year ❤ I had the pleasure of capturing adoptions, love-filled family sessions, seniors destined to go out on their own and do amazing things, an intimate courthouse wedding, and so much more! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every single person who has trusted me to capture their most delicate and precious moments, I couldn’t be more grateful to feel so fulfilled by the work I get to do, you guys are a life force ❤
